Classical texts and comedy

Autumn will bring great texts to the Victoria Eugenia Theatre. In October, Juan Diego Botto will stage ‘Hamlet,’ in which José Coronado plays the role of Claudius and the San Sebastian-born actress Marta Atura will play Ophelia. In November, Marisa Paredes will show her talent for acting in ‘Sonata de Otoño’ (Autumn Sonata), inspired in Ingmar Bergman’s film. Already in December, Fran Perea will lead the cast of ‘El Burlador de Sevilla’ (The Trickster of Seville), a play by Tirso de Molina.
Humour will arrive in January with Andreu Buenafuente and his monologue performances, this time at the Kursaal Centre. In that same place, but some days later, Charo López will present the play ‘El otro lado’ (The Other Side). The programme is completed by performances for children and amateur theatre.
