Algorri and Nautilus
Algorri Interpretation Centre, in Zumaia, and Nautilus, in Mutriku, offers pleasant presentations and explanations on how the flysch was formed in the bottom of the sea 110 million years ago. At the same time, these centres provide the necessary resources for understanding this singular geological phenomenon. Nautilus exhibits an interesting collection of fossils –more than 120 million years old–, which were gathered in Mutriku’s cliffs.
