For all tastes
In 2008, more than 11,000 people took part in the excursions to the Flysch Route, organised by the Tourist Offices of Deba, Zumaia, and Mutriku. These guided tours include from a boat trip –allowing visitors to discover the singular geological elements of this coast– to a trekking tour through its amazing cliffs.
This 2009 season offers interesting new things, like the possibility to watch cetaceans (dolphins…) on the open sea or making kayak routes thro0ugh Urola River to see the geological phenomenon of the flysch.
The so-called ‘geotours’ are one of those new things: a specialised guide accompanies the group in a full-day route to discover the fascinating world of sea life.
